Pension calculation

Q: Where can I find an up-to-date list of dynamising factors so I can calculate my NHS pension?

A: The last published dynamisation factor for the 2010/11 NHS Pension Scheme year can be found in the NHS Pensions Employer Newsletter for April 2011 (downloadable from www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk).

The increase for the full year ending 31 March 2011 is 4.6 per cent. You will, however, need to contact NHS Pensions if you require up-to-date dynamising factors for earlier years. It would be useful to ask for an estimate of your personal accrued benefits to include a dynamisation breakdown showing the factors for each of your years.
