Video: The surgery of the future

Medeconomics visits the Building Research Establishment to find out how new low-carbon technologies and design could influence primary care buildings of the future.

Michael Clarke, health director at property company Willmott Dixon, introduces the company's Community Healthcare Campus, where it has been researching how healthcare can be delivered in simpler, cheaper and more sustainable ways.

In the video, Mr Clarke shows us around a purpose built 'surgery of the future', highlighting where the company has made use of new technology and design to improve the building.
