A: The problem you have is that being single-handed, you must retire from your PMS contract.
You can stay on the performers list despite taking retirement, but you need to do something to ensure the succession and continuity of the practice if you wish to carry on working under the same contract.
This is not as straightforward for PMS contract holders as it is for GMS practices. The PCT has discretion to view it as a contract variation and terminate the contract, so a lot depends on your PCT's policy towards smaller practices. I suggest that you speak to the LMC.
