NHS pension transfer

Q: I am a 55-year-old GP and, as I wish to retire at age 65, I plan to transfer to the 2008 section of the NHS Pension Scheme (NHSPS) when I receive my NHS Pension Choices pack. What will happen to my existing added years contract which started in 2007 and is due to end when I reach age 60?
