Checking pension benefits

Q: I am about to take 24-hour retirement and have received my final figures from the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA). These are broadly what I expected but having received two differing sets of figures exactly one week apart (due to a 'miscalculation' resulting in a slightly lower pension/lump sum), I am now rather anxious as to their accuracy. What mechanism exists for me to double check these figures?
