Changes for 2019/20
England
- There is a new network contract DES, under which practices will receive a direct payment for taking part in the scheme. All other funding for the DES will be paid to the network lead providers. The DES comes into effect on 1 July 2019
- From 1 July 2019, the extended hours access DES will become part of the network contract DES. The associated funding will move to the network contract DES and be paid to the lead practice for the whole network. The network will be required to deliver 100% coverage of extended hours.
