COVID-19 app

NHS England has set out guidance on how healthcare staff should use the COVID-19 app. Practices have been asked to make sure that their staff are aware of this information.

NHS England campaign

NHS England has launched a new campaign ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign to help the public understand how they safely access the NHS. The next phase of the campaign will encourage the public to contact their GP if they are worried about symptoms that could be cancer. A toolkit with supporting resources, including promotional materials, is available from Public Health England.

NHS England has highlighted a document produced by Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire CCG which gives advice to GPs about safeguarding in phone and video consultations. This document has also been reviewed and endorsed by the National Network of Named GPs for Safeguarding.
